Director’s Welcome
Welcome to The Cathedral Preschool! For the last half-century, our school has offered a rich blend of history, traditions, and innovation. Each day I have the privilege of walking the halls of our school, where children are excited to learn, teachers are excited to teach, and the energy is palpable. We are a caring and supportive school aiming to inspire and challenge young learners to fulfill their potential in a variety of contexts. Often described as a family, The Cathedral Preschool takes great pride in the quality of relationships that exist between staff, students and parents. Our commitment to character and critical thinking is represented throughout our campus, from our carefully constructed curriculum, to devoted teachers who know and care deeply for their students, as well as through our Outdoor Classroom, and intentionally curated, hands-on learning materials within our classrooms.
Our trained educator’s deep understanding of child development allows for the intentionality that promotes math and early literacy connections through play and exploration activities. Cathedral teachers know how each child learns best, as well as what personal interests might serve as catalysts for children’s individual learning. That’s why our expert teachers design a wide array of learning experiences to promote active inquiry and self-discovery while encouraging kindness, empathy, courage and the Episcopal values students need beyond their preschool years.
A visit to The Cathedral Preschool further illustrates our unique environment. We encourage you to call for more information or to schedule a visit. Once you hear the laughter of our children and see the smiles on their faces, I know you’ll see how fortunate I am to experience the Cathedral Preschool joy on a daily basis.
I do hope you’ll come visit us soon. Please contact me directly to discuss The Cathedral Preschool, or get in touch with our Admission, Enrollment, & Communication Director, Mary Aden, to set up a tour.
Best Regards,
Laurie Campbell
